JIB CRANES
These cranes are used in places where movement in the cross-plane is limited. These are of two types, namely:
- Wall-Mounted Jib Cranes – These cranes are used where travel in the cross-plane is limited but long travel and Vertical travel are important. This crane is made using a wall-mounted cantilever beam, with motion capable throughout the length of the area or in an arc up to 180o. Available up to a capacity of 12.5 Tons.
- Slewing Jib Cranes – These cranes are used where motion in an arc is required around a fixed point. This crane is made using a cantilever beam mounted on a rotating pillar with motion capable of up to 360o. Available up to a capacity of 20 Tons.
